Child threatened in ‘knifepoint robbery’ in Coventry as e-scooter stolen

Police are investigating after a young boy was threatened during a ‘knifepoint robbery’ in Coventry. He was targeted on Stivichall Croft.

Officers received reports of a boy being threatened by a group who demanded his e-scooter at approximately 8pm on Sunday (March 29). It is believed they were armed with a knife, but no weapon was located.

Nobody has been arrested, and investigations to identify the offenders are continuing. Anyone with information should contact West Midlands Police.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We received a report of a boy being threatened by a group who demanded his e-scooter on Stivichall Croft in Coventry at around 8pm on March 29.

“Officers were called. No arrests have been made at this stage, but enquiries to establish exactly who was involved are continuing.
