A Coventry man who subjected his ex-girlfriend to a violent campaign of abuse has been jailed. Callum Lovatt attacked the woman multiple times over an eight-month period. Lovatt, 24, assaulted his ex-girlfriend on three separate occasions between December 2024 and August 2025. He headbutted his victim so violently during the final assault that she suffered a concussion, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard. Lovatt, of Hamilton Road, Coventry , was jailed for two years at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Tuesday, April 21. He pleaded guilty to two charges of assault by beating and three offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at an earlier hearing.
