Shisha lounge at Coventry’s Old Fire Station in late night licence bid

A shisha lounge located at Coventry’s Old Fire Station in the city centre has made a licencing request which could see the venue be open until the early hours of the morning. Bosses at Sky Lounge, on the second floor of the iconic Hales Street building, recently asked Coventry City Council to grant permission for late night licences that would permit live music and recorded music to by played indoor between the hours of 6pm and 4am seven days a week. There is also a request to serve late night refreshments between 11pm and 4am everyday. The request is now in a consultation period which will last until 15 May 2026. Its website states: “At Sky Lounge we have a commitment to serving only genuine shisha flavours.
