Coventry’s annual LGBTQIA+ celebration is scheduled to come back to the city towards the end of this month. The festival, dedicated to honouring diverse gender and sexual identities, will be held at FarGo Village during the final weekend of June.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of entertainment including musical acts, catering options, market vendors and interactive sessions. The gathering coincides with the conclusion of Pride Month, which commenced on Monday.
The official Coventry Pride website confirmed that this year’s festivities would occur on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June 2026 at the FarGo Village location in Coventry. Over these two lively days, residents will gather to honour LGBTQIA+ communities, amplify local voices and promote inclusion, artistic expression and unity.
Drawing from the achievements of earlier events, the 2026 programme will include an energetic lineup of live shows, visual art exhibitions, discussions, community initiatives and areas designed for contemplation, empowerment and celebration.
Organisers emphasised that the occasion remains driven by participant involvement, expressing their desire for local talent, perspectives and creative input to form the central focus of the gathering.
As of 12 May, recruitment remained open for weekend helpers. Positions available included assisting with the procession and stage acts, documenting moments through photography and managing online platforms, providing medical assistance, enhancing inclusivity provisions and handling venue preparation and breakdown.
