A drug dealer who turned his bedroom into a cannabis distribution hub has been jailed. Szymon Celinski was caught after a parcel containing cannabis extract from overseas was intercepted at Coventry Airport.
In November 2025, Border Force officers intercepted a parcel from the United States of America destined for an address in Crewe. Inside was a one-litre canister containing cannabis extract liquid.
Police attended the address on the parcel in April this year to speak to 30-year-old Celinski. He was in the property at the time and showed officers to his bedroom, Chester Crown Court heard.
His bedroom was likened to a ‘commercial-level distribution centre’ and contained around 230 packets of cannabis dust, resin and liquid, along with 100 packets of cannabis edibles. He also had a quantity of illicit vapes.

Police valued the items found at approximately £27,100. Officers also found chemical equipment used to produce cannabis gummies and several label printers for packaging and postage.
Further packages were found prepared for delivery across the UK, with others destined for Spain and Poland. Celinski was arrested but gave no explanation for his actions when questioned.

Celinski, of Gainsborough Road, Crewe, later pleaded guilty to multiple offences, including fraudulently evading prohibitions on the importation of Class B drugs and being concerned in the supply of drugs. He appeared at Chester Crown Court on July 13 and was sentenced to three years and four months in jail.
Detective Sergeant Kevin Williams, from Cheshire Police, said: “It was clear from the offset that our officers were dealing with a professional operation that was importing and exporting considerable amounts of illegal produce on a local, regional and international scale.
“With that in mind, I am glad that, with the assistance of our colleagues from Border Force, his criminal enterprise has now been permanently shut down and a key player in the local drug trade removed.
“Importing illegal goods, which have often been bought for heavily discounted prices from abroad, funds organised crime in your area, which is why it is so important that if you have any concerns about the sale of drugs in your community, you report it to police so that we can take robust action.”
