Three men have been jailed after four ‘deadly’ firearms were discovered inside a modified Vauxhall Corsa in Coventry. Junior Dube, Kai Williams and Tyreece Barnett-Leslie were convicted after DNA and fingerprints linked them to the weapons.
Four firearms were found inside a Vauxhall Corsa parked on a driveway on Wappenbury Road on November 11, 2025. Police said the partition between the cab and boot had been modified, allowing the loaded weapons and ammunition to be easily reached.
Warwick Crown Court heard that the Vauxhall Corsa was parked near a property linked to Williams, who was arrested the following day at a nearby address. Officers searching the property found a key for the Corsa, along with cocaine, weighing scales and burner phones.
Williams’ DNA was later found on one of the handguns and one of the shotguns, while his fingerprints were discovered on the bag containing the weapons. DNA found on the firearms also helped identify Dube and Barnett-Leslie, who were both arrested.
Snapchat messages found on a phone belonging to Barnett-Leslie showed Dube had sent numerous photos of guns, including one of the recovered shotguns and the handgun linked to their DNA. Dube was believed to have supplied the firearms, as one of the photos was taken inside his house, Warwick Crown Court heard.

Barnett-Leslie threw a bag of cocaine from his bedroom window moments before he was arrested. All three men were sentenced at Warwick Crown Court on Wednesday (July 29).
Williams, 27, of Wappenbury Road, pleaded guilty to possessing a handgun, a sawn-off shotgun and cocaine with intent to supply and was jailed for seven years and 11 months. Dube, 23, of Purcell Road, admitted possessing a sawn-off shotgun and handgun and was jailed for five years.
Barnett-Leslie, 18, of Crediton Close, admitted possessing a handgun, criminal cash and being involved in the supply of drugs. He was sentenced to four years in jail.
Det Chief Insp Amar Patel said: “It was a significant recovery of four deadly weapons, which were no doubt being used to spread fear and violence in the West Midlands. Great forensic and investigative work has meant that they have now been taken off the streets, and three criminals put behind bars for many years.”
