Police release CCTV images after city centre assault in Coventry

Officers have released CCTV footage of an individual they are seeking to identify following a reported assault in Coventry, which took place on Trinity Street.

According to investigators, the victim sustained punches and kicks during the incident at 12.45pm on Friday, June 26. His injuries were not severe.

West Midlands Police have now published an image of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation. In the image, he can be seen wearing a shirt and headwear.

Individuals who can identify the person in the image should reach out to West Midlands Police. Contact can be made via the 101 phone line or through Crimestoppers for confidential reporting.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated that they were appealing for public assistance in identifying an individual connected to an assault on Trinity Street, Coventry, which occurred around 12.45pm on Friday, June 26, involving a man who was kicked and punched.

The victim sustained injuries during the incident, though thankfully they were not severe. Officers have been working to locate the person responsible for the attack.
