Thousands of spectators plan to visit War Memorial Park on Monday, prompting heightened security measures. Visitors should familiarize themselves with the permitted and prohibited items before arriving. Below is the official security guide for the Sky Blues’ celebration event.
Bag Restrictions: Each attendee may bring one bag, which must not exceed A4 dimensions. The venue provides no cloakroom or storage options. Bags exceeding the size limit will result in denied entry. An exception exists for guardians with infants, such as those carrying nappy bags, subject to event management’s approval. All bags will be undergo security screening.
Prohibited Items:
The following items are not allowed: Smoke bombs, flares, and fireworks are forbidden. Glass containers, perfume, and makeup bottles cannot be brought onto the grounds. Alcohol is not permitted. Camping chairs and stools are banned. Only compact umbrellas under 30 centimeters in length are acceptable. Disposable vapes and aerosol products including deodorant, hairspray, and spray paint are prohibited. Selfie sticks, drones, and professional photography equipment such as SLR cameras with detachable lenses cannot be brought in. Airhorns, megaphones, and personal sound systems are not allowed.
Permitted Items:
Visitors may bring one sealed, unopened 500ml plastic water bottle. Complimentary refill stations operate inside the venue. Personal food is allowed provided it fits within the A4-sized bag. Sealed baby milk bottles are permitted.
Entry Requirements:
All ticket holders must complete security checks before 3:00 PM. Late arrivals will be denied entry regardless of ticket possession. Tickets should be downloaded to Apple or Google Wallet in advance. The park lacks public wireless internet, and cellular connectivity will be limited due to large crowds. Exit from the venue is permanent—readmission is not possible. Acceptable identification includes only physical photo documents such as passports or driving licences for age verification purposes.
