Reform UK Richard Tice marvelled at Nuneaton’s market during a walk-about earlier today. He chatted to shoppers, stall holders and shop keepers in the sun-soaked town centre earlier this afternoon (May 2).

It is the party’s second high profile visit to the borough after leader, Nigel Farage, stunned shoppers when he went to Bedworth market last month.

Voters across the two towns will go to the polls on Thursday, May 7 to decide who represents their voice at the Town Hall. Only half of the council’s seats are up-for-grabs.

Currently there is No Overall Control (NOC) at the Town Hall with Labour having a minority administration.

All eyes will be on what happens during the count on Friday, May 7 as the borough is seen as a ‘bell weather’, which is an indicator of how the nation will vote.

Even Tice himself said he may pop into the local count as part of a whistle-stop tour on election results day.
