Police have released descriptions of two men as part of their investigation into an alleged sexual assault at Nuneaton Train Station.

Officers from British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses who may have crucial details to assist their ongoing inquiry following a report of a sexual assault at the station on Friday 13 March.

Billy Ormiston, aged 36 and with no fixed address, has been charged with sexual assault and is expected to appear at Warwick Crown Court on Monday 13 July.

Detectives are now working to locate two men who separately entered the male toilets on platform two at the station between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on 13 March.

The first witness has been described as a white male with a bald head and spectacles, wearing a dark blue outer jacket and a blue middle layer with a white shirt underneath.

He was wearing grey coloured trousers and tan brown shoes, and was carrying a small dark bag. He had originally arrived wearing his white shirt with two jackets draped over his arm.

The second witness is described as a white male wearing an orange and dark coloured jacket with the hood up, grey or light coloured trousers, and carrying a rucksack.

Detectives believe they could have important information that might help their ongoing inquiry, according to the force appeal.

The force is also asking anyone who was at Nuneaton railway station on the evening of 13 March to get in touch.
