Devoted spouse of June. Treasured father of Gary and Cheryl. Beloved father-in-law of Julie. Adored grandfather of Lewis. Died peacefully at his residence on May 12 2026, aged 84 years. The farewell ceremony will take place on Friday 12th June 2026 at Canley Crematorium in the Charter Chapel commencing at 14:30. Emma Jane BARNABY

With profound grief and enduring affection, we mark the departure of Emma Barnaby who died peacefully on 6th May 2026, aged 97 years. Cherished mother to Pearl, Margaret, Tony, Elaine, Beverley, Trevor, Shirley, Lloyd and Cecil (deceased), Treasured grandmother of Jenna, Shane, Julianne, Justin, Lewis, Sandra, Yetunde, Otis, Aaron, Trineesha and Cornell alongside 17 grandchildren residing in Jamaica. Devoted great-grandmother of Aaliyah, Xanthe, Indianna, Zebediah, Dantae, Isaac, Alexis, Creshia, Romaine, Alezae, Jahlarni, Tia, Nevaeh and 26 great-grandchildren living in Jamaica. Sister to Florena and Robert and sister-in-law to Evelyn. She will be profoundly missed by family, companions and all whose lives she touched. The farewell ceremony will be conducted at St. Pauls Church, Foleshill on Friday 5th June at 11:00, followed by burial at St. Pauls Cemetery. Claude Winston (Win) COLLIER

(Win) sorrowfully died peacefully on 16th May 2026 aged 91. Treasured husband of the late Winifred, beloved father to Tim and the late Andrew, father-in-law to Sally. The farewell ceremony will be conducted in Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium on Monday 1st June 2026 at 12:00. Light refreshments will be served afterwards at Baginton Road United Reform Church, 83 Baginton Road, CV3 6FP. Hazel Eunice DYER (née Davis)

(née Davis) Hazel, aged 95, died peacefully on 18th May 2026, in hospital following a brief acute illness. She was the widowed spouse of Rex Dyer and devoted mother to David. She resided for the majority of her married life with Rex at Engleton Road in Coventry, relocating to Earlsdon Park Village in 2016 where she led an active existence for several years. Her diagnosis of dementia in 2018 and subsequent Covid restrictions in 2020 prompted a move to Herald Lodge Care Home in July 2021. Throughout the subsequent five years she retained her resilient outlook and outgoing nature. Frequently recalling her time as a wartime evacuee in the village of Uffington. She was a dedicated grandmother to Hannah and Edward and great-grandmother to Alice and Lily. Hazel was the eldest among five siblings – Bridget, John, Richard, and Rosalind. Additionally, she was mother-in-law to Debbie, with whom she shared deep mutual affection. Likewise, a loving auntie, cousin, godmother and treasured companion. At the end, David and Debbie were present beside her listening to Glenn Miller performing Moonlight Serenade. The farewell ceremony will be conducted in Charter Chapel, Canley Crematorium on Tuesday 9th June 2026 at 10:45. Attire is best characterised as ‘Conventional elegant’ with vibrant accents – especially red to complement the red roses adorning the coffin. John Richard EVANS

Beloved father of Steven and Dale and father-in-law to Jayne. Treasured grandfather of Emma and Thomas, dear brother of Robert, Keith and Kathleen. John was a familiar figure as former proprietor of Alties in Bedworth until 1992, and will be warmly remembered by all who encountered him. Died peacefully on 11th May 2026, aged 87 years, now united once more with his cherished wife Valerie. The farewell ceremony will take place at The Heart of England Crematorium on Friday 19th June 2026 at 1:15pm. Family flowers only please. Janette (née Platt) HEATH

(née Platt) The farewell ceremony will take place on Friday 29th May at St John’s Divine Church, Willenhall at 1:15pm. Followed by cremation at Canley Crematorium at 3:15pm. Flowers to Henry Isons, Binley Road by 11 o’clock.

Peter William HINCH

Peter died peacefully on Wednesday 13th May 2026, aged 73 years. He will be profoundly missed by everyone whose life he touched. A farewell ceremony will be held on Monday 8
