Two robberies on same Coventry street as police step up patrols

Police have stepped up patrols around a street in Coventry following two robberies.

In their latest community update, the Westwood, Wainbody, Whoberley, Woodlands policing team revealed they are investigating two robberies on Jardine Crescent.

During the first incident the victim. who has not been identified, had a phone and wallet stolen.

In the second, the victim, who has also not been identified, had an electric bike stolen.

As well as the robberies, there has also been a reported burglary of a business on the same street.

“Extra patrols are taking place in the area,” the team said.

“All of these incidents are being investigated.”

Officers say that they are organising another PACT (Police and Communities Together) meeting so that locals can raise any concerns they have about crime in the area as well as pick up safety tips and advice.
