Officers detained two individuals following calls about a machete threat against a person.
Emergency services attended an address in the area on Friday. Upon arrival, they recovered a bladed weapon and held the pair on suspicion of knife-related crimes.
A spokesperson for the local constabulary stated that the quick response by officers led to the weapon being recovered and both men now remain in custody.
