Hotel in Coventry offered for just under £3 million

A hotel in Coventry can now be purchased for approximately £3 million. The Quality Hotel situated on Birmingham Road in Allesley is being marketed as an exceptional investment prospect.

The property features 80 guest rooms, a dining establishment accommodating 50 patrons, and a bar section with capacity for an additional 60 guests. Four conference and function spaces are available for business gatherings, training courses, celebrations and private occasions.

The property is currently listed with bids exceeding £2.75 million. Enterprise Hotels & Hospitality has been retained as the exclusive adviser to facilitate the sale on behalf of Prince Hotels Ltd.

Gavin Wright, who established Enterprise Hotels & Hospitality, remarked that the Quality Hotel Coventry presents an attractive property along the A45 Birmingham Road, offering 80 en suite bedrooms along with abundant on-site parking facilities.

He noted that the hotel’s positioning will be enhanced by its closeness to the new HS2 Interchange Terminal, one of the most significant transport infrastructure projects being developed in the country. This facility will serve Solihull and the broader West Midlands region, establishing a key entry point for high-speed rail travellers.

He described this as an exceptional investment prospect in a sought-after West Midlands location that operates independently of management structures, granting new proprietors full operational freedom.

The hotel has been under the ownership of Prince Hotels since 1997 and presently operates under a Choice Hotels franchise arrangement, trading under the Quality Hotel brand.

Buyers have several options available, including maintaining the current franchise arrangement, transitioning to different franchise brands, or exploring alternative potential uses, provided the necessary planning consents are secured.

Mr Wright further commented that this versatility offers substantial potential for repositioning, strengthening the brand and maximising value.

Those interested in acquiring this or both available properties can reach Mr Wright via electronic mail at gavin@enterprisehotels.co.uk.
