Latest forecasts predict that Sky Blues fans may needs brollies for the Coventry City FC ‘We Are Back Live’ parade and festival. The Met Office says that an unsettled Bank Holiday weekend lies ahead. The huge Coventry City FC ‘We Are Back Live’ parade and festival takes place on Bank Holiday Monday (May 4). While over the past few days our area has seen hours of sunshine, this may not be the case for the historic event to mark the Sky Blues’ return to the Premier League. This week is set to see more sunshine and will feel ‘increasingly humid’ on Friday, May 1. But the forecast states that as we head into the weekend it is due to turn ‘fresher’ with showers. This is also when the festival will be held at the War Memorial Park. Coventry City FC has lined up what it has described as ‘the biggest party this city has seen’ with live music, including the likes of The Enemy taking to the stage as well as food and drink stalls across the park. Maximum temperature 14C. Tonight A fine evening with plenty of late sunshine. A few mist and fog patches developing overnight but most remaining clear. Turning chilly in the countryside. Minimum temperature 4C. Wednesday Any early mist and fog quickly clearing leaving a fine and sunny day. Remaining breezy, especially in the south, but feeling a little warmer. Maximum temperature 19C. Outlook for Thursday to Saturday Remaining dry, sunny and warm on Thursday. Sunshine increasingly hazy on Friday with a risk of showers but remaining warm and increasingly humid. Fresher on Saturday with further showers possible.
