A 17-year-old girl sustained a serious leg injury after a collision with a vehicle in Coventry. The incident occurred while she was riding an electric scooter in the vicinity of the New Pippin in Wyken. Emergency services were dispatched to Ansty Road at approximately 6pm on April 27. paramedics discovered that the teenager had been struck by a car and sustained severe injuries. She was transported to University Hospital Coventry for treatment. Officers interviewed the vehicle driver at the location and investigations continue.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed they received reports of a pedestrian involved in a collision with a car on Ansty Road at 6.06pm on the evening of April 27. Emergency crews attended and provided treatment to the injured girl before transporting her to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.

Earlier that same day, another woman was discovered with injuries at the intersection of Wyken Croft and Hermes Crescent. She had been struck by a vehicle shortly before 1pm and received treatment for minor injuries.
