A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a car on the A444 off the A5 close to Nuneaton. The incident occurred at the intersection of the A444 and Old Forget Road in Fenny Drayton at approximately 5:56pm on April 27. West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed it received a request for assistance from East Midlands Ambulance Service after 999 calls reported a crash involving a car and a motorbike. An ambulance was dispatched as part of the joint emergency service response, resulting in part of the A444 being blocked off. The WMAS representative confirmed that the rider, a man whose name has not been released, suffered severe injuries and was transported to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. According to the WMAS representative, they were requested by East Midlands Ambulance Service to help at a road traffic collision involving a car and motorcycle at the junction of the A444 and Old Forget Road in Fenny Drayton at 5.56pm on April 27. One ambulance arrived at the location and collaborated with EMAS personnel already present to assess and treat the motorcyclist, a man, who had received serious injuries. The individual was transported via WMAS ambulance to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further medical attention.
