A four-vehicle collision near a garden centre on the outskirts of Nuneaton resulted in injuries to four male occupants yesterday afternoon (June 1).
Emergency services attended the incident on the B4112 Nuneaton Road close to Hoar Park Garden Centre in Ansley following 999 calls received in the late afternoon.
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service assessed four patients, all of whom were men. Three of the individuals required transport to hospital for further treatment.
According to the ambulance service, crews were dispatched at 4.51pm after reports of a road traffic collision. Upon arrival, they discovered two vehicles had collided. The three male casualties received treatment for injuries described as non-critical before being taken to George Eliot Hospital. The remaining male patient was treated for minor injuries at the scene and subsequently discharged.
Warwickshire Police advised residents at the time to steer clear of the area, noting that the road segment would remain closed for an extended period.
