Officers are calling on residents to help locate a missing girl from Coventry.

Investigators are urging people with any information about Maya to contact emergency services immediately.

The force has posted a public appeal on social media platforms.

The 16-year-old hails from the Lower Stoke district of the city.

According to the authorities, she was last observed more than half a day ago.

The appeal states that Maya was last seen at 3pm on 1st June 2026 while dressed in a black cropped jacket, grey tracksuit trousers and white training shoes.

The message ends with a request to dial 999 and reference log number 6304-010626 if the teenager is spotted.
