Face of Bedworth thug who left dad-of-two with brain damage after street attack

This is the face of a Bedworth thug who left a dad-of-two with brain damage.

Corey Morris’ victim spent two months in hospital and had to have multiple brain surgeries following an altercation on Whitburn Road, Bedworth on June 20 last year..

At the time of the incident, West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene.

He needed lifesaving treatment including an emergency craniotomy and admission to intensive care.

The victim, who has not been identified but is a man aged in his late 30s, was left with brain damage.

Morris from Coventry Road in Bedworth was arrested and charged with Section 18 – Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.

This was later changed to wounding/inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm without intent.

At Warwick Crown Court on July 3, Morris, who is 33, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison
