A man sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Bulkington. Emergency services were alerted to the crash on School Lane earlier this morning (April 30). West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed to CoventryLive that an ambulance crew responded to the location, with part of the busy road being obstructed. Paramedics discovered the male casualty, whose identity remains unknown, had suffered severe injuries. He received treatment at the scene before being transported to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for additional medical attention. A spokesperson for the ambulance service stated they were summoned to reports of a crash between a car and a pedestrian on School Road at 7.51am, with one ambulance dispatched. Upon arrival, crews located a single patient, a male pedestrian, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being conveyed to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
