Police have charged a man following a knife attack in Warwickshire. It happened in Dordon in the early hours of this morning (April 4).
Officers were called to reports of a violent disturbance at an unnamed social club shortly after midnight and found a man in his 30s injured. He had sustained cuts to his arm and hand.
Cops arrested a 41-year-old man at a property on Coppice Drive in Dordon. Robert Scarley was subsequently charged with wounding.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on Monday (April 6). Investigations into the alleged attack are ongoing.
Witnesses are urged to contact Warwickshire Police. Information can be provided by calling 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “A man has been charged following a knife attack at a social club in Dordon in the early hours of this morning. Our officers were called to the venue shortly after midnight following reports of a violent disturbance and they found a man in his 30s who had suffered cuts to his arm and hand.
“Officers arrested 41‑year‑old Robert Scarley, of Coppice Drive, Dordon, at his home address. Scarley has now been charged with wounding.
“He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Coventry Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Police enquiries are ongoing, and any witnesses or anyone with information that could help us with our enquiries can contact us via our website or by calling 101.
