Warwickshire Police’s Operational Patrol Unit (OPU) pulled over a Hyundai traveling southbound on the M6 near Corley, discovering the driver had only a provisional licence and was operating the vehicle without L plates or any supervisor.

The driver, whose identity has not been released, also faced issues as the vehicle’s MOT certificate had lapsed on December 8 of the previous year.

According to the unit, “The driver was reported for driving on a motorway on a provisional Licence and with no MOT,” and the car was taken into custody.

On Sunday morning (March 29), authorities additionally impounded an Audi on the A46. The person behind the wheel lacked insurance coverage and was operating the vehicle without proper licensing authorization.

Officers also located a cloned Nissan Navarra connected to a robbery in the Thames Valley region. The pickup truck was believed to be displaying fraudulent registration plates and had been linked to the theft of construction equipment.

One individual was apprehended at the location and subsequently detained.
