Coventry teen sought in Michael Ababio homicide probe

An 18-year-old male victim lost his life in a stabbing incident close to Foleshill Library on February 22 in Coventry. Police continue to search for a 17-year-old suspect identified as Ismael Nabeel in connection with this killing.

Three individuals have now been charged in connection with this case.

Investigating officers are requesting public assistance in locating Nabeel, who remains unapprehended. Anyone with information regarding his current location should contact the police non-emergency number 101 and reference log 4185 dated February 22.

The three accused individuals, including two 17-year-olds and 19-year-old Mahad Mohammed, are scheduled to appear at Warwick Crown Court on April 13.

The two teenage defendants cannot be identified in media reporting due to legal restrictions. All three have been charged with both murder and attempted murder in connection with the death of Michael Ababio.
